Let's start discovering Passive Voice in Present Continuous tense by analysing two simple sentences. The first one is written in Active Voice, whereas the second one is in Passive Voice.

I	am		writing	a letter	now.
The letter	is	being	written	now.

As you can see when we change the sentences from Active Voice into Passive Voice we should remember about introducing some changes. The table below shows the parts of a sentence in Passive Voice in Present Continous tense.

Present Continous is not a Simple tense that's why it consists of an auxiliary verb. Depending on the subject of sentence, the auxiliary verbs takes appropriate form. After the auxiliary verb we should use BEING followed by Past Participle ( in case of irregular verbs it is their third form and in case of regular verbs it is Past Simple verb form. The table below shows the Passive Voice for Singular and Plural nouns in Present Continuous.

Singular
The	letter	is	being	written.
Plural
The	letters	are	being	written.

As you can see the only change which takes place here is the auxiliary verb. As for singular nouns we should use IS because we have to do with the third person singular, whereas in case of plural nouns we should use ARE.
